About Us

Cape Catfish

Cape Girardeau’s newest baseball team, the Catfish, will debut in the Spring of 2019 as the 12th member of the Prospect League. Cape residents have long loved baseball, and have a rich history of supporting local teams. So, when approached by the Prospect League, a group of local businesspeople and city leaders saw an opportunity to bring affordable, family-friendly recreation to the area. We’ve committed our time, money and talents to developing a team you’ll want to root for, and a game experience you’ll enjoy. We look forward to sharing more about that in the coming months. Thank you for your support.
